4760 Video Specs

post #1 of 8
Thread Starter
I didn't get a manual with my 4760 (I have notified Sager). What I am looking for is the LCD specs so I can get KDE up and running. I need refresh rates, etc. It would be nice to have an exact part # or clue as to who made it.

Thank
David

Mine came with a manual. Here is the full text for the monitor and video:

LCD
* 17.0" WXGA TFT (1440*900)

Display
* ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 high performance chip
* Supports AGP 4X
* Integrated 128-bit 2D/3D Graphics Accelerator
Advanced HW accelerator for DVD playback
Fully DirectX 8.0 compliant graphics engine
*External memory 64MB DDR SGRAM on board
* Dual-View display monitor

That's all that it shows.

Do you have the detailed specs on the other components of the laptop? Or could you point me to where I can get them?

Thanks again

HERE
Don't miss the hardware tab to click for more info.

Problem with the hardware tab is that I don't have one exactly. I run linux. While much of the hardware is detected, it would still be nice to have a reference of what exactly is on this machine. For the stuff that is not detected I have to make my best guess. Even for the stuff that is I would not have detailed info on the component without doing alot of research.

Thanks
David

No, I mean the hardware tab in the link I posted. If you click hardware details on that page, you get more info.
