Ogre's got a new 4750!

Just got it from UPS today, and so far it is a flawless machine ( I had almost forgotten how gorgeous the screen is ). I'm very satisfied with Sager and PC Torque's service, both are outstanding companies. My previous laptop must have been one of the rare lemons, and I don't blame anyone for being unlucky. My faith in the 4750 has been restored.

Glad to hear you finally got it. Mine seems to be acting up. I think too many food crumps got in the speakers since I hear a rattle while gaming and certain sounds are played.

thanks . get a can of compressed air and clean out the speakers, that's just lazy lol

how exactly do i go about this. Should I remove them somehow? And how do you do that? Or just blast the speakers with a good whiff externally?

yeah, just blast em and see if that does anything. The speakers on my new one don't rattle at all, so you probably just have junk in there.

Or jism. Kaching! Sadly today my life was changed for the worse. I learned what the expression pink sock means. I will probably have nightmares tonight.

blast compressed air into your speakers? Guaranteed way to permanently destroy them

So what should I do gsferrari?

that'll really destroy them? I don't mean put the nozzle right up next to them lol, just at a safe distance to get some possible dust out. just don't turn up the volume very loud maya, or get some headphones (I'm sure gs can recommend a pair)

Hmmm. Never had problems with compressed air myself.
Congradulations Ogre. Good to hear your new 4750 is working fine.
