alienware is packed up and ready to be sold. I couldnt resist the urge to get me a 9860, SAGER ALL THE WAY!!!!!!! can't wait to get it.

To those who have ordered the 9860 how long did it take for you to get it using the free shipping? let me know i'm so excited. I ordered it tonight (nov 19) Also I be damned if I pay for a rehashed AW case nothing new but AW really pizzed me off when they did nothing but tag the top LCD shell wow i'm so impressed. Like I said before Sager all the way.... AW's laptops don't impress me anymore...... weeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I have totally dismissed alienware all together.

ordered on the 8th. Still waiting for it to be shipped from sager.

Wireless delay now TV Tuner delay.

Who the hell knows.

Ordered mine late last night...it shipped today direct from Sager. They did call and tell me they are now using a Intel Wireless card but that the TV Tuner IS delayed. I told them I could care less about watching movies, much less TV on my computer. They changed it...they shipped it! Get it Monday....damn weekends@!)(*$(

Allen I ordered mine with second day shipping on the 9th (early morning) and Luke told me it shipped today before the tv tuner delay email, so yours may have shipped today also.

Luke hasn't sent out the PC Torque shipping email yet cause he dosen't get the tracking # from Sager/UPS till midnight.

Afro did you order direct from Sager? Cause it makes no sense how you basicly got yours shipped with less then 24 hours of build time rather then the standard 3-4 days.

Yup...directly from Sager. Placed the order about 11:30PM Central last night, they called to confirm the order this morning and inform me about using a different wireless card and TV tuner delay. Told them the Intel Wireless card was just fine and could care less about the TV Tuner and Mark told me it would ship today or tomorrow. Just got my UPS tracking number after dinner! This is with dual 60 gigs, XP Pro, dual optical, and 3.6ghz

Ordered the 8th, eCheck cleared the 12th, 2 parts out of stock emails. Still waiting, no eta on shipping yet from PCTorque.

Makes me wonder why it takes them days for them to build everyone elses...

Ordered mine on the 9th with free shipping. Still no word when it will ship with out the turbo wifi and tv tuner. Hopefully soon. Seems like a shipping nightmare to me since I think I live about 30 miles away from Sager in City of Industry and I'm too cheap to have it shipped directly to me.

The "turbo wifi" and tv tuners are the big delays. I just accepted a 802.11g Intel card and ditched the tuner..guess that's why I got mine shipped so quick.
It was my understanding they were out of the "G" cards and were using "B"'s
post #11 of 15
They are out of the G turbo cards. Not the G cards

I ordered mine from PCT on Sunday the 14th. I ordered mine the same day Synergi ordered hers and she got hers yesterday. Paid for overnight shipping too. Maybe I'll get it on Monday, but If I had know Sager provided such good service, I'd have ordered directly from them

PCTorque are out the the 802.11 TURBO G cards, for those of us not willing to wait they have managed to snatch up 802.11 B/G cards. As many have mentioned there is also a small delay*hopefully* on the TV tuner.

I beleive its sager that ran out of the cards, not PCTorque.

Obviously (ya i know its spelt wrong my spelling sucks so give me a break) Sagers gonna build their direct customers laptops first then the ones with a middle man. not to mention direct contact with the maker would make transactions faster.
