Ver' nice. I want one. (But not a blue one that says "SpiderMAX". <g>) Thanks for the link. Looks about a million times easier, faster, more versatile (custom designs) and cheaper than paint.

Questions...

To get the piece to cover the wrist rest, did you order two custom skins or did you do it with one skin designed to be cut apart?

If one skin, how did you know which end of the skin was which? (Peel the protective cover before applying? Hold it up to the light? Other?)

(Time to break out Paint Shop Pro and the Wacom, I think... Then there's the matter of buying the laptop to put it on... <g>)

cutting polyGFX on a laptop

I'm curious about how the vinyl was cut around the touchpad. Did you pre-cut it? The videos on the site explain the process but I would be worried about scratching the surface of the case. I guess it wouldn't show if the next step is to cover it with PolyGFX vinyl. Thanks for sending this out! I have so many ideas for my 3790 cover, it'll be a while before I chose one -- "There can only be one."

Thats cool, but I couldn't find a video on the site about applying it to a laptop. =/
