Hey, for you gamers out there, just trying to find a game or two to install on my 700m for those moments I have to kill some time. any suggestions? keep in mind that I will be running it on a 700m with very limited graphics capabilities. I've been out of the gaming loop for a while, so a little help would be appreciated, thanks!

hmm, I like [1] PacMan, [2] Checkers, [3] Pinball, [4] I still thinking about the fourth one.....

That's about all that a 700m will play! hahaha

Apparently, Baldur's Gate 2 works well on the 700m, and really, what other game does anyone need.

it can play quite a bit of games so don't go laughing to hard at it.

basically anything that is not a fps that came out within the last year it cannot play very well. GTA vice city, war 3, age of myth, sacred, wow all these play just fine.

Yep. I play CoD on my 700m as well. I love this game, and it plays on the laptop pretty well. You will not be able to play it at very high resolutions, or turn up the goodies to make it look pretty, but not bad for "integrated graphics".

I guess seeing the 700m play Halo on 1024x768 with high textures doesn't count then huh?

I dont see as where you MR 7500 will play much more either. I had the 64mb MR 7500 in my 5100 and it struggled with any game.

I was joking about that first post! I know that the 700m is a great laptop.

btw, My 7500C will play almost anything I want it to: Vice City, Halo, True Crime (little slow @ medium reso), etc. It's not the best out there, though. --- hehe --- when I bought it, I didn't intend to play games on it.

well ended up installing a sega genesis emulator and getting some roms of some old games i have such as contra and sonic, i'll probably be looking for a NES, and SNES emulator as well, these games are not only fun but they look amazing on the 700m (or any modern day pc for that matter), with special renderers and filters enable the games look 10X better than they used to back in the day ..... in other words i find this a great way to waste a couple of minutes whenever i'm bored

Starcraft Baby!

what about these...

Is it safe to guess that these games play okay?

Sid Meier's Pirates
Simcity 4
Rome: total war

In addition to the games previously mentioned on this thread, these are the only games i'm interested in playing for now. I generally prefer turn-based strategy games and sometimes real-time strategy. If i wanted a first person shooter, I'd just use my x-box.

Thanks!

I enjoyed played World Of Warcraft in class during the Beta Test. Now I'm back to playing Diablo 2 when lecture gets boring.
