I'm hoping the clocking enthusiasts can clear up some confusion. I recently installed the latest Omega Drivers based on Cat 3.6. In the control panel that is now installed, there is a Clocking Rate tab in the left-hand side of one of the rows of tabs. It tells me that my card is clocked at 249.75 for the core and 339.75 for the memory. A 2nd programme installed with the drivers is RadClocker which can be accessed through the Radeon drivers subfoder in the Program Files folder. Double-clicking on the exe file apparently reduces the clocking of my card to 249.75 for core and 168.75 for memory. What's going on here? Is either set of clocking values too high or too low for the card to handle? What are "ideal" clocking values for core and memory that will not end up damaging the card?
