3790 HDD light does not flash!!!

I just received my Laptop yesterday!!! Wahooooo!
I am staring at the LED lights and the Hard Disk Drive light does NOT seem to flash at all! Could someone please let me know if your HDD light flashes or not. It's driving me crazy. I've built desktops and connected this light backwards and it says steady when the PC is on. Connect it properly and it blinks when there is activity.

Just wondering if this is normal.

Man... I was fortunate enough to not have any dead pixels... but I hate it when little things are wrong. I hope there is a connector that can be turned around (easily).

the 7600 rpm HD light stay on all the time...
contact PCT for that...

Really ... it only does this for the 7600rpm HD? Because that is he speed of my drive. I have just received my laptop and really do not want to send it to anyone to have it fixed. I was just wondering if the the wire was just connected backwards. I unplugged and reconnected the hard drive and it actually flashed for a little bit... and now it has stopped flashing...
