i would buy an HP if

i would buy the r3000z today in a flash if.

1. they told me what speed of ram they put in notebooks?
can we put 400 or are we restricted to 333, if so why?

2. they would keep selling the sweet WVA WSXGA+ screeen

3. give Low Power AMD 64 as option

4. offer the 7k60 as option.

5. put a backlit keyboard in...

6. give me a no OS option...(grad student has all software he needs in school)

7. give me a whopping good educational discount..

8. of course remove the 2002 geforce 440 go..wtf??

9. put in a lite-on dvd dual burner


anyone anything???

but you have to agree the WVA WSXGA+ is sweet!!
and the HPs are pretty cheap too..
64 3200+,80g5400,1gb,bluetooth,b/g,home,64mb440 g0, combo drive,WVA WSXGA+ = $1553

check out Uniwill 258KAO, might not have the nice WSXGA+ glossy screen, but at least the vid card owns the 440go (ati 9700 128mb)

lol...let me show you why Uniwill 258KAO from IBP can be an option


1. they told me what speed of ram they put in notebooks?

(you can go 400 no problem)

2. they would keep selling the sweet WVA WSXGA+ screeen

(can't help you, but WXGA isn't that bad)

3. give Low Power AMD 64 as option

(available with the Mobile (62w), not LV)

4. offer the 7k60 as option.

(IBP GOT IT)

5. put a backlit keyboard in...

(ugly mac style? do you really have to see your keyboard when you do stuff? tonight alone i was gaming and wrote an essay in complete darkness)

6. give me a no OS option...(grad student has all software he needs in school)
(i ordered mine NO-OS)

7. give me a whopping good educational discount..
(when you are getting a gaming lappy for $1400, you dont need one)

8. of course remove the 2002 geforce 440 go..wtf??
(thats why you get the ATI 9700 128MB in the Uniwill)

9. put in a lite-on dvd dual burner
(is an option)
