usb wireless ethernet

I'm thinking about getting athe 5660... about 75% sure. Since it only has one pcmcia slot i would like to be able to use that for thing other than a wireless ethernet card (wut would i do if i wanted to hook sumthin up while im on the internet??)

so i was wonderin if anybody knew about the usb wireless things.... i haven't heard much about them so anybody know of anything good? or maybe they have a usb item that allows for another pcmcia slot? any info would help. thanx in advance!!

USB ethernet devices tend to work just as "good" as any other ethernet device. I would certainly look for a USB2 device as USB1 is painfully slow. Wireless is going to be quite slow unless you go with 802.11a (comes in 72Mbps variants), 802.11b should work fine over a USB1 connection (you will be lucky to get more than two or three megabits using 802.11b).
