Question re: Intel PROset

Hello.

I just noticed the icon for the Intel PROset in my system tray has changed.

Before, if I held the mouse over the icon, it would report the connection strength. Now, it just says "Double click to launch Intel PROset for wireless." When I open it, there is nothing there. A link to network connections that doesn't work.

Now, I believe this started yesterday after I connected up to a LAN at my buddy's place. He disabled my wireless adapter as he ran the network wizard. Could this be related? I have since then removed that network from my network places.

The wireless adapter (in network connections) is enabled and works (I am using it as I type). I never used the PROset before, as I had WinXP manage the wireless connection. Anyone know how to reenable this software?

Thanks!

Hmm. I think I found my answer. Looks like I need to delete the network bridge (done) and uninstall and then reinstall the PROSet software. That'll have to wait until I get home.

Here is the link I found: CLICK HERE.
