OT: Software

Hey all,

I have seen several awesome posts with lists and lists of software that people are using, but I do have two specific requests.....

What are folks using for (in the XP environment)

1. Backup (my documents, outlook data, game data)
2. Installation (more importantly, unistall....but something to track all the little files that get scattered)

I backup to a Huge Drive that I have attached to a WIN-2003 Server (Main Computer). I use the uninstall utility within Windows to uninstall programs. There are fragments that stay around, and I normally ignore them. If a folder remains, I manually accomplish the cleanup. I use Innovative System Optimizer to help keep the registry clean; however, stray elements still survive the cleaning.
