Does anyone here can give me an idea about Toshiba Satellite 1955-S803? I'm going to buy it from a friend of mine for 1100 USD.
Is that a good price to buy it ?
THanks
i'm very unhappy with mine, more at toshiba than the machine.
it's very powerful, screen is big and good, disk is big but slow.
the keyboard is badly designed, you'll need to retrain yourself to be able to use it without ruining your work. the shift, ctrl, and alt keys turn off after holding them for 3 seconds.
i'd say it's a good price for a 2-3k machine if you can deal with the keyboard.
i haven't checked. i'm replacing it with sager 8890.
i'd think so, check with toshiba. maybe you'll be able to get a straight answer from them, i never could.
