Getting Wifi To Work With Suse 9.2 And Hp Pavilion

I just recently installed Suse 9.2 on my somewhat new HP Pavilion zt3101us lappy. Everything works fine except for the Wifi. I tried all the configurations possible, even downloaded latest drivers using YaST servers. Anyways, it seems that there's no problems with my lappy detecting the drivers as the WiFi monitor shows that there's 100% link, but I still get no connection. Even with the click on the wifi button to shut it off, the monitor indicates that its off, and when I turn it on, it says that its on. So i'm not sure why it isnt connecting to my wireless router.

I'm somewhat new to linux and wifi. So i'm hoping maybe could help me out with my problem. So I dont know if its the software or maybe the configuration.

Here's some info that may be able to help in finding what the problem is:
The router is a Linksys BEFW11S4, the lappy is a Intel Centrino Pentium M 1.4 GHz, and the Network device is wlan-bus-pci-0000:02:02.0. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Also if you do an ifconfig or iwconfig depending on what's installed, Does it show an ip address or no. You may need to manualy start dhcpcd on the wifi card.

Both ifconfig and iwconfig work, ifconfig gives me IP addresses and iwconfig gives me the wirelesss info. But if everything is working fine, why cant I connect to the internet?

Well, there is an option in "Network Devices" in YaST on how you want it turned on. It gives you "at boot" "hotplugged" and "if plugged in" and a couple of others. For both wireless and wired I chose "if plugged in" it then asked me to install a package called ifplugd and voila, it installed and everything worked great.

Hopes this info helps another person.
