Just changed my order to the 1680x1050 screen.
Still in phase 2, Angela has said their are a lot of orders and that the remaining balance since I have only been charged £275 so far will probably be charged in January, Phase 2 for a little longer in the UK.

OMG! OMG! Its offical woohoo Phase 9!!!

At 6:06 PM EST on 12/22/04 I recieved this wonderful e-mail! (phase9yayyy.jpg)

Woohoo!!! Hopefully it will ship by the end of this week or next week! AWESOME!

I just got back from Meet the Fockers too, lol that movie was great.

Woohoo!! Phase 13!

Hopefully it should be in my hands by the end of the week.

Man I wish you were able to just pick it up from Alienware. I live approximately 30.14 miles from the Alienware HQ! (thnx mapquest)

BTW, can anyone recommend a decent bag for this type of the laptop? I believe the current laptop bag offered from Alienware is too small and I am not interested in the bookbag or the briefcase.

Thnx and good luck to the rest of you in your "phase game", mine is almost over!

Bag Decision

lol doh! I forgot about a $100 Best Buy gift card a good friend gave me for christmas.

So I will most likely(sp?) be getting the bag from Best Buy.

So far it has came down to these bags...

1. Targus - Extra-Large Notebook Case - Black - TXL417 - $54.99 - Link

2. Targus - CityGear Miami Messenger Notebook Case - Black/ Gray - TCG200 - 49.99 - Link

Checked the dimensions for both bags and the 7700 should fit but if not, I can always take it back.

What do you guys/gals think?

Its here dude i just got done snapping the pics they should be up shortly.

Sorry to say but I missed the infamous "Fed-Ex man coming to the door with your Alienware shot" because I was on the sh*tter! LOL

The doorbell rang and I was like who the hell is that? Wiped my a*s and saw a Fed-Ex Home Delivery truck out the window!

OMG OMG OMG! lol

panaic insued thereon out.

I LOVE ALIENWARE!

pics will be up in like 10 mins this thing is huge!!!!!!!

EDIT : Bah i just realized that the pics are really big, (duh didn't resize) sorry about that I will resize and retake the pictures and write a review later tonight guys!

P.S. - the reason the pics looks kinda fuzzy too is because I had to reduce the quality in photoshop to a reasonable size for the boards. My neighbor has a web server so I'll bring the pics(high res) over to him so he can host them for me.

I just hope mine ships in time to arrive before the weekend (I live in NY). They said it should be shipping today. If I have to spend the weekend without my new bitch, I may have to resort to drinkin' and whorin' to pass the time.
