I hear you. My son has (or perhaps "had" is a better word) an Ispiron 5100 and the monitor went bad. I have had the display screen, inverter, flat cord and now the video card replaced and it still doesn't work. I have had much better luck with my old Compaq Armada 1750 (PII, 333mz). It has been "Ole Faithful".

Spread the word. As consumers, it is our right to voice our dissatisfaction. It might not make a difference now, but just give it time.

Two bad apples among the world's largest PC manufacturer in sales and automatically the company and its products are horrendous? Try showing me a company of this size that hasn't had a few upset companies.
