9200 Reviwe - Page 2

How is the heat output and fan noise while browsing the net or word processing? Speaker quality?
Poor guy, getting inundated with questions from people who will find all this stuff out in 24 hours. I want to know, too!
I know, we can't wait at all, can we? Mine will be here tomorrow and I'm asking this poor guy what it's like. What if he tells us it's junk.
Poor guy!?!?

He HAS his 9200!!

Think about it.
Mine went from kitting to in transit....so I will be doing a full write up on it with pictures in about 72 hours....fingers crossed. Kalheel, what were your specs of the 9200 you ordered?
What screen res did you go for?

Exactly. I'm just going to wait and see, I think. I mean, how bad can a 17" 2.0 Dothan with 128 MB of video be? Not too bad, I tell you.
It is now confirmed.... the video card is not the same as the 9100/xps. Apparently there is no svideo out visible on rear unless it is the mark on the far left. Wonder if it is upgradable
post #31 of 183
it has svidioe out.. look at the specs form dell...
It is a different card though, it's permanantly attached to the motherboard and thus non upgradeable.

Well
It is a solid laptop

The screen is really good it has great clarity but not the glossy screen. Sound is superb it is the best i have heard in any laptop yet (comparable to 2.1 altec lansing) the video memory is 128MB.

The system is very silent no noise at all. Keyboard is really comfortable but could have included a number pad. Looks like an appel G-book some what

it is a real solid desktop replacement.

oh man i love the sound in this thing it is great

i am so hAPPY

will try to give a complete review later

it's removalable...the question is will dell ever offer any mr9700 alternatives.

http://support.dell.com/support/edoc...0/sm/index.htm

btw, thanks for the reply khaleel. but can u comfirm what is the mem/core your mr9700 running at? I remember someone said the mr9700 in i9200 is the DTR version with higher core/mem than the usual(e.g. i9100/XPS's).

edit:
in case you don't know where to look at:
So you got the WXGA+.

The fonts look pretty small already.

The WUXGA must be really small?

Can we see some desktop photo's?
