9200 Reviwe - Page 4

This thing is sweet! I got it this afternoon and it is very solid. The keyboard has no flex at all, feels solid. The case is solid all around the lid, the base around the keyboard all solid. The 8600 I just bought for my wife, has a ton of flex all around it. This is much more solidly built. The screen is not high gloss like xbright screens but is very bright and clear. No dead pixels. The sound is exceptional. Everyone is going to be happy with this laptop for sure. I took some pictures with my digital camera but have to figure out how to get them on the web tomorrow. I am glad I got the xga screen, couldn't imagine the text any smaller. Its sweet!

Wow it looks ginormous in the first pic with someone's hand pointing (edit: duh.. it's a child.. doh!)

Thanks to the nice focus, we can finally see that it's a sexy bia..
i was going to repaint the silver part of the lid a mirror gloss black, with a white stripe down the middle, but it just looks so clean in the silver/white.

Hey, just a question. With the touchpad, can you double-tap it to replicate the left mouse button, or do you need to click click the left button?

Some touchpads allow that which I much prefer.

wow nice pic's to all 3 of you what is everyone's screen type (wxga or wuxga)?
Pixelskin, you can you can double tap the pad like the button, I like that function also. And it works that way out of the box, don't have to go in and change it. I'm telling you guys it is a killer laptop.

For me it's just right.

Thanks Melons, that's great.

I was thinking of waiting to try and import an HP zd8000 into Australia when it comes out, but I'm becoming more and more convinced of getting one of these.

If you guys do any web development stuff with Dreamweaver, Flash and Photoshop on one of these, I'd love to hear what you think.

Deviant25 I have the wxga and I wouldn't want the text any smaller. The screen is super clear and bright. I thought I wanted one of those xbright screens but this screen is exceptional. You guys are going to love this thing!
