Just a suggestion

Have you ruled out bad ram? Does it crash when you run Memtest86?

I've run memtest32 successfully.

After tonights round of testing following the successful runs of 3dMark05 w/o the power cable attached.

Installed Farcry and Halo.. both are directX games. Previous games use GL. From what I have heard Nvidia drivers have problems with GL including the unreal engine.
Lineage 2, Jedi Academy and I beleive Battlefield Vietnam all use GL.

So that ppints to a driver or graphics hardware problem.

However I can't explain why 3dMark05 crashes w/ the power cable plugged in but successfully completes when its running on battery power. (Unstable voltage?)

That is because when on battery your machine is significantly downclocked - both processor and graphics. You can play with graphics part of this if you wish using Powermizer option on GetForce Go 6800 tab of Display Properties. Furthermore, if you install CoolBits 3D you will get an option Clock Frequency Settings that allows over and under clocking . Try under clocking and see what happens. Maybe Sager is right since I have 4x512 mb and do not experience any of your problems - I run those test almost all the time 24/7 last 7 days on overclocked 9860. If this is the case probably also 4x256mb would work - but I am not sure. It is definitely a hardware problem.

3dMark05 does successfully run and give a score.. without the power cable being plugged in. As soon as I try to run it with the power cable attached, it reboots or simply goes dark.

Installed Halo and FarCry... Both games loaded and were playable. Farcry had some texture and lighting problems that I couldn't resolve via settings. (incorrect interior lighting, washed out textures, water dosen't have the reflectivity it should) I tested it with low, medium, high and very high settings. Halo appeared to play w/o any issues.

Halo and Farcry are both DirectX games.

Lineage 2, BattleField Vietnam and Jedi Academy are openGL (the unreal engine I beleive). I tested them with and w/o the power cord plugged in.
Jedi Academy still errors out with the same error with and w/o the cord plugged in
Lineage 2 loads up and plays beautifully, without the power cord plugged in, It crashes soon after plugging it in. Still reboots when game is started with cord plugged in.
Battlefield seems to be running correctly following the successful 3dMark05 tests. It currently runs with the powercord plugged in.

I would say its a problem with openGL and the voltage. Cause it reboots trying to load an intensive openGL app.

OK.. Sagers official answer is RMA it beacuse the problem is "a glitch on the system board"
