Hey all
If you have benchmarks for your Acer Ferrari 3200 laptops, post them here.
I am upgrading my laptop with more RAM and a faster HDD for everyone to look at (in case you were wondering whether it will be worth the money).
My post will come within the next couple days.
Good posting!

Results

Well I must say that I am disappointed with my results...but then again, I usually don't get the results others do or what I hope to get.

NOTE - (advanced settings set to defaults on everything)

3dMark2001 SE w/patch
Stock - 10594
Upgrade - 12402

NOTE - (advanced settings set to defaults on everything)

As you can see, the upgrade helped very little if any. I will be tweaking my system some more and will post more benchmarks when I find any significant differences.

All the benchmarks were done on a newly formatted system with updated drivers, Windows updates, ect.
Stock system: Acer Ferrari 3200
Upgraded system: Acer Ferrari 3200 with new Hitachi 60GB 7200RPM 8MB Cache Hard Drive and new 1GB KingMAX PC2700 SoDIMM (plus stock 256MB SoDIMM)
