Well, the chassis has to keep all the same things in roughly the same place to line up with the internals correctly, so it's impossible to tell with the crappy pictures on Voodoo's site.
I know they used a different chassis for the 5670/M:550, becuse their design eliminated the modular properties of the modular optical bays - they had a fixed floppy drive in the front bay that was *not* swappable for an optical drive or second battery like everyone else's version of the same machine.
If you compare detailed images of the M:550
with the 5670
, you'll notice the touchpad and Audio DJ controls are different, and the speakers on the Sager (right below the screen, either end) are clearly mounted elsewhere on the Voodoo. But if you compared the specs and options of the two machines, it was clear they were identical.
I don't know about the M:600 and M:700, I haven't gotten good enough looks at them to judge.
