I have a tecra 8000 with a completely dead k/b and have use an external k/b. Does anyone know, step by step, how to take the laptop apart so that you can go in check the connection and/or remove and replace the k/b? Since I never opened a laptop, I am apprehensive about doing it and I noticed a lot of screws on the botton and underneath the battery, cd-rom, and not sure which ones to remove. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
