Curious about the new Axim

do you like the new axim, I mean, do you get what the cheap price implies, or is it better than that implies, I have always been an Ipaq dude, but if the dells are any good, I would give thme a try.

I am very happy with Axim

I like the it alot but I have to say it only last about 3 hours at top before running out of battary... My acer gives me about 2:40... that is only thing I have problem with it

I have a Dell Axim 3xi and the battery on it lasts for a good while. I can usually use it for a couple weeks unless I'm using the Wi-Fi. I've never had any problems with it and it's been a very reliable and great Pocket PC.

I've got an Axim X3i and an X30high and they last 3 or so hours each (unless I turn on wireless). Standard battery. I usually don't use my X3i so I carry around it's battery with me as a spare if I need it.

if u want info on the axims, i'd definately ask the fellows over at www.aximsite.com think

I own an x3i and i love it to pieces!

Jin, your laptop stand looks nice, and I looked at the Griffin Technology site.
Do you think a 17" screen laptop will fit in those?
Nice setup man, I was debating on the Dell, and the Ferrari at one point in time too!

But why are your bottom 3 slot drives in upside down? =-P
post #11 of 20
That is neat looking. Especially with the acrylic looking stand.

Very nice stand - I second the question, would a 17" screen lappy fit?
I have the same stand and I am using it on my inspiron 9200 and I used to use for my 8790 before I sold it

is the carbon fiber piece on top of the keyboard actual carbon fiber? I only got to see the laptop behind a glass display case and I kept wondering
post #15 of 20
that is REAL carbon fiber, ive looked at the acer myself it KICKS ASS!! too bad they threw in a crappy HDD, shoulda been a 60GB 7200RPM but. the axim is also kick ass, i have an X30H myself, love it to peices, WAY better than my old ipaq 2210
post #16 of 20
I have an Axim X30 (hence the username ) and it OWNS!!!
Why not open the laptop up and use it as a dual monitor setup? Unless you want to show off the red (which is what i would do anyway if I own an acer ferari)
