Have you tested your memory and confirmed it's actually running in Dual Channel mode?
the manual says that out of sheer cost of a 1gb SODIMM, let alone 2......

Gee, how much does it cost to print "2048"?

Doesn't make sense that they chose not to print it because it's expensive.

Does make sense that they are using a manual that was modified from a previous version that and that feature was mistakenly over looked.

Is there place where one can download a version of the manual?
