Short battery life

Which kind of battery could i get that would last more than a half hour?
I have the 8cell and read somewhere i couldn't get the 12 because of the tv card?

what r u using it for on battery? u should get about 1-1.5 hours with the 8 cell, and the 12-cell is more like 1.5-1.75 hours, and these times r doing thinfs like browsing the net and workd processing, not gaming

Regular stuff like looking at files browsing the net. The only other thing running would be webroot.
