Nice performance!!!

Can I ask how you are overclocking? Also, by how much? And is it stable?

I am soooo happy to be seeing those scores.

I have been looking at this forum for a while and this is my first post.

I just received my M60 with the following specs:

1.7ghz P-M
15.4in WUXGA
1Gb RAM
60GB 7200 RPM HD
COMBO DVD/CDRW
QUADRO FX GO700 128MB
WIFI 802.11b/g
USB Floppy
3year on-site complete care
targus dlx case

I paid 4800$ CDN including taxes and everything

I'm quite pleased with this machine because it can handle very large CAD files (CATIA 3D mockups) almost as good as our new workstations at school.

How is that possible? Isn't 1GB of ram from Dell $800?

$3,450 for 1gb RAM and 1.7GHZ seems low?

I bought the system with 1dimm 512mb from dell directly and the lady i talked to said she could match kingston's (180$ US) price for a spare 512mb sodimm.

So, I got two orders from dell. the first one was the spare 512mb sodimm and the other was the system.

Very nice setup. I guess I left myself an upgrade path to the 1.7 and beyond. =)

Maybe we should petition for a Dell forum?
Yeah i would like that, but itd be nice if adam made a section here (unless that is what you are talking about cause then im all for it) I went to the dell forum and it was just too complex to be really useful, there were so many levels. Each computer type was broken down to model and then from there into audio, graphics, keyboard, screen and etc it was impossilbe to be useful.

So Adam, make use a dell section pretty please
