So I just got a Lenovo Yoga 13. This is my review.
As what I primarily do is writing and programming, having a good keyboard is critical for me, which is why a tablet alone can’t work for me, and...
I have owned dozens of laptops in a variety of brands, and had many different laptops provided for my use at work. Without question, this is the finest I have owned. The Alienware M17x R2 is a...

Thanks. But I heard the mobile variants of the desktop chip are quite different. The XP-M laptop uses FSB 266, but P4-M use 400 FSB, does this have any effect ?? Also the P4-M appears to have more L2 cache then XP-M, how do they fare ??
The XPs numbering coresponds very closely with the P4s clock speeds. In lower iterations(XP2400, 2.4Gig P4) the XPs seem to have the edge but as of late the P4s seem to be a bit faster(the margins of victory in either case are not large).
In short an XP2000+ will stomp a mud hole in a P4 1.7!
The main differences in mobile XPs are just clock adjustment(power saving) whereas the P4s have those features but give up HT and the high FSB speeds of the desktop chips.
Thanks for the help. One last question, if I were to choose the P4-M (because it comes with a better graphics card) laptop, would I be able to upgrade the CPU to a desktop P4 or pentium-M ??
haha, I guess thats only a small problem. The P4-M chip should be powerful enough. Looks like I will be getting a Toshiba 2410 series laptop. I hope a GF 420go vs GF 440go doesn't differ much in performance.
