I know this has been put up before but i want to download something where i dont have to use the win software... can someone get me a link to download the quickkey from dell or something

Someone mentioned the quickset driver or something where do i get that from?

any help would be great

It came on a blue Dell CD... I believe it's labeled on the CD (I don't have mine with me right now), or else it'll be in the Notebook System Software CD.

Go here select you type and model. Then select os and language while leaving category to all. (this will give you all the available d/l for you lappy)

It should be under applications.

cheers now it works on volume showing text but the other buttons dont work still

Try checking out Logitech's itouch software. It works great with my i8600 and has more options then the Dell software. It works even though you don't have a Logitech keyboard.

i have tried this software but and shows the txt for volume... i cant seem to get the buttons to work though

I've got a service called ATI Hotkey Poller which I assume was installed with the ATI drivers, and may have something to do with the hotkeys working in most my media players with no configuration.

i have the inspiron 8200 if that helps too... where can i get this ati thing from then?
