ahhh... thank you! i've been waiting to see pictures of the gap sleeve.

the real reason i'm commenting, though: nice comforter!

I dig that little 700m. How's it hold up for battery life? I've been thinking about getting either a stripped down 700m or 8600 to use more for school, since my 9100 is only good for about 100 minutes on battery for word processing and web surfing.

Cool case, btw.

anything looks little next to the 9100!!

Will the 700m fit in the saddlebag alone? I want a messenger style bag with a built in laptop compartment for my 700m but I don't want it to be moving around a lot. I need to hold some notebooks and a binder with it as well and the kensington looks to be the right size.

BTW I do have the GAP sleeve as well....but i don't want to have to use it along with whatever messenger bag I end up getting.

archangel - for school i would recommend a x200 or x300 since its got a more natural feeling keyboard and is much lighter. i got the 700m and the bastard isnt as light as the other two.

That reminds me, I had a messenger style case for my 9100 for about two weeks. I'm an athletic guy, but that case made my shoulder hurt like a mofo after carrying that thing for like 5 miles of walking every day on campus.

the Gap sleeves used to be available at the Gap, the clothing store, hence the name gap sleeve . it was part of their new selection of bags and accessories. but they dont have any more cuz they were last season's merchandise. and since i work at the gap i was able to get them for 50% off, so i only paid $10 for mine, which is a pretty sweet deal. it fits my 600m perfectly. there is no slack in it at all.

Yeah, I have to thank everyone who found that deal, I got one of the last ones here in Phoenix for like 12 bucks. Works perfectly!
