ATI driver issue.

I have an Evesham Voyager 64 3200 (Based on the Mitac 8355). The current display drivers for the ATI Mobile 9600 video card are very old and do not perform well with Half Life 2 and other newer games. I have tried installing modified versions of the ATI drivers (For mobiles) but these are causing screen corruption at the top of the screen, it's as if the screen is trying to display "outside" the limits of the monitor. I've tried it on several different monitors but get the same error. However, it looks OK on the internal LCD of the Laptop.. I['ve also tried adjusting the monitor to cope but with no luck..

I did have an older version of the Omega drivers installed and working but since a PC rebuild I've lost them, and the new version give the same problem as above.

Has anyone else seen this issue? or do you know a fix?

Thanks.

Si.
