Dell C600

Just a quick question. Did Dell ever make a Latitude C600 that had a 1.8 processor in it. I have the service tag and the Dell site states a Pentium 3 1.8 ghz proc. Odd. Any thoughts?

Google results turned up 750-1Gig, but not 1.8. Might have been hidden deeper in there.

FWIW: Fastest Mobile PIII (used in C600) produced by Intel was only 1.33GHz. I don't think that speed was ever shipped in the C600 though.

Here is the description from the Dell website for the processor in the C600 laptop

You don't have that one, that's the newest kind of Pentium M They've probably just reused the old item number for your processor for this one, since it's fairly old.
