satellite M35XS149 shuts off

I have a new( purchased 09/04) satellite M35XS149 notebook. Worked great until yesterday. I turned on computer and it booted up. stayed up for about a minute then just shut off. I turned back on and went right off again. -any thoughts.

any error messages?

is it still under warranty? (im guessing it is)

any beeps during startup?

could be a number of things... laptops are the hardest to troubleshoot...

if you really dont want to deal with it and it still under warranty, i'd send it back and have them take a look at it... a lot less stress involved and you dont have to worry about solving the problem... thats whats great about a warranty
