Is Toshiba cheating on us?

Hi all,
nice thread ;-). I was going to buy an M35x-s349 but then I got stuck because of the graphics card (Intel® 855GME w/16MB-64MB shared video memory) that according to most of you (and not only)... sucks , compared to the ATI® Mobility Radeon™ 9700 graphics w/64MB of VRAM (with I have on my IBM), mainly because of shared vs dedicated memory. So I went to the M30x page to run my configuration and I noticed that:

15.4" Wide-screen XGA Display w/TruBrite Technology **Req. ATI® graphics controller**

as well as

15.4" Wide-screen XGA Display (1280 x 800) **Req. ATI® graphics controller**

while

15.0" XGA Display (1024 x 768) **Available w/Intel® graphics controller only**

or

Intel® 855GME w/16MB-64MB shared video memory **Available w/15.0" XGA Display only**

The point is that also the M35x-s349 has a 15.4" Wide-screen XGA Display w/TruBrite Technology, but apparently has the Intel® 855GME w/16MB-64MB shared video memory!!! And in theory all the M35x have 15.4" Wide-screen XGA Display (1280 x 800) (not TruBrite), but they have the Intel card.

What's wrong w/ that? Is the M35x a complete clutch? Is Toshiba cheating on one or the other? I assume it would still work, but... what are the implication, am I wrong? How big is the difference between the 2 controller? Assume no 3D games, played...

I'd love to get a M30x now, but I need to leave on the 20th of december and I'm worried I won't be able to make it w/ the 12-15 business days of delay, especially under Christmas. What do you think about this also???

thanks!
Paolo

I just bought an m35x...still trying to figure out how to get the DVD to read consistently. It seems to like some movies and not others..store bought or not.
The graphics claim to have OpenGL capability, but I'm not gonna push my luck.
