installing the a+b+g mini-pci card took 5 minutes, and worked immediately upon loading the drivers. here are some pictures:


as you can see, the a+b+g card(left) is actually smaller, by about 20%, than the original 802.11b card(right).

removing and reattaching the antannae between cards was relatively effortless.

just noticed this. wish i had a 802.11a router to test this out, but there's a "Turbo mode". additionally notice the range settings for 802.11b. and Transmit Power can be moderated by 10 point increments between 0%-100%. pretty spiffy.
