Well im not exactly sure of the actual scale of the sentia. I know the 12" is small but I have never seen one, Does anyone have a picture of their 12" sentia next to something for scale??

I know sentia isnt made for gaming but what is the max it can handle?

Battlefield?? anyone ever try this game on the sentia??

Medal of Honor games???

is the keyboard too small to type essays on? or is it comfortable?

Thanks

Before I got the Sentia I had a Dell 8100 laptop for several years and never got use to the keyboard. I was always having to look down at the keyboard to "find" keys like page up, insert, del. The Sentia is smaller than that old Dell yet it only took me about 3 days to get use to the keyboard.

I also got use to the touchpad a lot quicker than I expected. However I still occasionally touch the pad with the side of my thumb when typing which can reposition the cursur. That's annoying but I am getting better at it. Whenever possible I plug in a wireless mouse and disable the touchpad when I am doing a lot of typing.

Im not too sure on the gaming aspect of this laptop, but I did do some research on the size. My roomate has a powerbook g4 and he let me use it for a day just to get use to the weight and feel of it. At first I was dissapointed that the Sentia were only offered with a 12 inch screen. But after using a laptop with similar dimensions I ordered mine immediately (and before the sale ended I might add )

Hmmm..........wow, I always thought the Sentia was just AW's version of Dell's 700m........(all of which were, of course just a laptop made by Winstrom? or whoever, sold thru these guys)..........BUT............

This looks like more than the 700m!! Specs are similar, but I notice that AW got the thing to 1" exactly in thickness, not this varying number from front to back.

Also, they seem to have avoided the "hunchback" syndrom of the 700m. The fact that this Sentia solves 2 of those big holdbacks from some potential buyers of the 700m, it looks like the answer.

If I had the money, I'd pick up a Sentia in a heartbeat. I'm not a gamer, but have experience with the Intel Extreme Graphics2 on my Dell 4600c SFF desktop and it works quite well for onboard graphics. This Sentia looks like a neat machine.

Any real-world estimates on battery life??

Also......any feedback on how the 2nd set of speakers down below work??

Hmmmm....."Doom 3 won't work"....I have it up and running- not the 100% graphic best but I can run'n'gun reasonably smoothly; I have 2 Gb Memeory and the 355 CPU.....

World of Warcraft looks pretty sweet, too....
