having problems burning/cloning DVDs with TravelMate 291 LMi, GWA-4040N DVD drive ; it's a Hitachi-LG Model GWA-4040N; friend of mine has the exact same laptop only with a SlimType SDW-431S-(E) drive.......she has absolutely no problems with it.
I use CloneDVD and it always shows burn successful at the end of the process ....... but there is nothing on the DVD (it doesn't matter if I use RW + or -, used different manufacturers as well. With nothing I mean that my DVD drive (as well as my normal DVD player and other laptops) always show the message: no disc on the display.
Any ideas / pages I could surf to in order to download an additional feature I might need?
