i can't seem to connect to the internet through dial up. everything works out fine when i click on the connect tab, the no is dialled and there is that handshake noise, but thats where the problem unlike the usual handshake connection noise which ends with the verification of the username and password, here the tone goes on for about 5-7 secs more, and i get an error saying that it could not connecto to the remotr host. now i have 2 coms here and the connection seems to work fine on the second com. Does anybody have any suggestions as to whatiis wrong??
