the moniter portion wont come on at startup...
last night, i hit the shutdown button. i closed the lid and just assumed that it would turn itself off (like it usualy does). but one of thoese "can't shutdown until certain program is closed" things came up (zonealarm). when i opened the lid this morning, i noticed this. i hit the cancel button, figured it would not shutdown, but it always does anyway. when the blue screen came up, it said going into standby. confused, i pressd the fn+ esc (takes it into or out of standby mode) but nothing happened, so i hard shut it down(held the shutdown button for 5 or so seconds). now, the moniter screen doesn't boot, but it sounds like everything else is. i tried plugging a exterior moniter up to it, but still get the black screen. i don't really know hat to do about it at this point.
::EDIT:: i cannot toggle the cap lock. i am guessing this means it isn't booting at all...joy...
