Snap stream

Anyone tried the snap stream beyond media with that firefly remote on their 8890 yet? THis is what I am thinking about I am thinking about giving it a try and wondered if the tv card would work...there is a list of ones that do not work ..not sure if the one in the 8890 will work.

Anyone tried this yet?

I haven't tried the Firefly remote, but the remote that came with the tv-tuner does allow some control of media players. Starting and pausing DVDs for example and skipping tracks in Musicmatch.

I tried SnapStream on my 8790 with the Aver TV Card and it doesn't like the video card. I believe that it, like Sage and a variety of others, want a TV card that has a Hardware decoder - something that the Avermedia card does not.
