Help w/ Inspirion 1000 w/Dell Wireless 1350 wlan pc card and motorola router

Hello!

I'm really struggling with this a bit, I've spent several hours trying to get my new notebook pc online with my Motorola WR850G Wireless Router. If I disable wep and leave the network open, I am able to connect to the internet and the network fine. But if I enable it, it shows connected to the network, but will only pull the windows IP 169. It doesnt appear to be communicating with the routers dhcp. Anyone know if there are any conflicts with my wireless pc card and my router? Or am I over looking something? any help would be much appreciated!

Well, with WEP enabled, you need the key set in the router entered into the notebook.

I assume you did that, right?
