OK, anyone please help me. I made a MS-DOS startup disk, and then extracted the bios update to the disk. I restarted and it booted up. Said type 10s to flash to the 10s bios. I typed 10s and then this is what i got:

Cannont Flash if Memory Managers (e.g. HIMEM) present.
Press any key to continue...

Then it takes me back to A:/

So what do i do?

Here is winphlash, or you can download it from Eurocom's website, I'm not sure which one is a newer version

Ackkk!

I remember this problem from before! You must have a very early version of BIOS on your machine, since this occurs when trying to flash from (I think) 1.00.3.

If you cannot get winflash, make your self a bootdisk from Dr.DOS 7...still the cleanest, best bootdisk I've ever encountered.

Here's a link

Thanks to all that have helped me update my bios. My bios flashed without any problems and fixed the video playback issue. Thanks again to all and it is really nice that anyone can come to this forum for help. This forum is one of the best(if not the best) place to come with computer problems. Thanks guys!!
