Well, I noticed today that my laptop was locked at 2ghz, so i checked the task manager and noticed that one of my svchost processes, running rpcss was using 99% of the CPU power. Weird, couldnt figure it out. Then i realized that my firewall wasnt up. Oops. Then I found a virus phqghumea.exe. Oops. I tried to clean everything up, but for some reason, that svchost kept revving up. So i tried to restore my registry with a backup I made about a week ago.
And now, when ever I try to run Mobile Meter, I get a "Failure to communicate with ACPI Driver." Sigh, I broke it.
