Just ordered a Sager 5660!

I hope this thing rocks! It's going to be used as a secondary gaming machine next to my desktop from playing DAoC on. I sometimes play two characters at once. If it's all of what I hear you guys say it'll probably become my main system. I have yet to read a bad review on it. I've been considering a Dell 8200 for a long time but I read too many bad things about them on http://forums.us.dell.com. So, Sager here I come.

Soon to be proud owner of a Sager

Yea I was looking at an 8200 also but as soon as I found the 8886 I was sold, You'll have NO prob playing your games on this thing. Have fun!

You will love your 5660. I too was considering a 8200. I was able to actually lay hands on one in a Dell kiosk at the local mall about three weeks ago. It was a nice machine, but it didn't seem all that impressive in person. The hinges seemed weak and the keyboard didn't suit my way of banging on the keys.

I haven't had much time with my 5660. The wife ordered it for me as a Christmas present. She let me charge it up and check it out for a few hours after it arrived before it was wrapped up. For me, it is a much better machine than the 8200, even in the short time I was able to use it, it was super impressive.

Well, just got my new lappy and it rocks . Had it for about 1hr now and installed DAoC with SI expansion and it runs like a charm. So much better than my HP 6000 w/ATI 8meg video card.

So, far no dead pixels that I noticed, fans not that bad, does get kinda hot on left side of laptop. Ordered it with XP pro installed and all I did was turn it on, enter XP reg key and away I went. Drug the DAoC folder across my network from my main box to laptop and ran DAoC SI. Runs fine, so far very happy. Haven;t tried anything else on the laptop or opened any of the solftware that came with it.

I got my 5660 on friday, I just hooked up my monitor, Nostromo n50, keyboard and mouse to it . Goodbye desktop this thing is just faster than my Athlon 1.33 and geforce 3. Ive been playing UT2k3, Quake3, and SOF2. no problem.

Just finshed playing 5 hrs of DAoC straight, hehe Sometimes I get in 12 hrs at a time. This laptop just plain kicks ass. The graphics look great, everything is maxed out and just plain runs.

Doesn;t seem to get any hotter than my HP 6000 playing this same game with everything turned off and res set to 800x600. My HP got warm on the keyboard just like this one does so its really no different in that respect.

Really nice lappy. Friend of mine is looking for a new gaming latop and when he gets back from vacation for the holiday's I'm gonna tell him to gives Adam's site a click.

Only thinng that would make this thing better right now is a cool Cyborg Green paint job, I love the solor schemes of the Alienware versions of this laptop. I would have paid the extra $250 I think to get the paint job.

Very Satified customer.

Glad to hear you got it running on that game... someone else was having trouble with it and I was amazed that any game could make these lappies flinch, and they can't. :-) They rock! Congrats!
