Cannot control mouse with thinkpad please help

My thinkpad where i place my finger to move my mouse is freaking out. When i try to control the mouse with my finger, the arrow wont follow its starts moving irradically and/or returns back to the center from which it started. I turned the machine on and now its doing.

How can i fix this? What happen to it?

Try reinstalling the synaptics touch pad drivers. You can download them from the Sager site
