xp question

if i bought an alienware area 51m and decided to return it, the software is not returnable

am i able to use the xp professional i cannot get my money back for now?

I tried to install it on my pc but it wont register, i assume this is because it is a manufacturer's cd

how can i install it on my pc since my laptop wont have it and i am stuck having to pay for it?

buy one for 80 bucks on newegg. your out of luck.

Some liscancing issues many many many years ago. Ment that PC supplies had to give the ability to sell a PC without a OS.

So your best bet is to ask for no OS to be installed on the pc and get 40$ off the pc and then but it off the shelve. Althought AW & Dell's arnt locked to there pc. (had to use them for repairs)

But why should you even be thinking about returning it lol!!

It should work and seeing how you bought it from Alienware, it is still covered under warranty if you even need support. If you have any questions just get a hold of Juan. He'll help you out.
