DScaler

I have been messing with the TV tuner on my 8887 recently, and some of you guys said that DScaler looks much better when you record. Well it does, it looks a lot better, but there is one thing I can't figure out. How do you make it record at full height? If you go to TimeShift Options, the spot for full height under recording height is greyed out. Whats the deal with this? Is this program just not finished yet or something? Is there another GOOD program for doing this that will record at full height? BTW, i am using version 4.0.1.

Yeah, unfortuneately, dscaler is still a beta program and not finished. If you want recording, try virtualdub at http://www.virtualdub.org/. If you figure out how to work it correctly, you can also compress the video on the fly to divx.
