Nvidia Driver 67.03 and 3DMark05 work Together.

I have a test partition using WinXPSP2. I found the 67.03 Drivers here
http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/
But they DO NOT include the modified *.inf. You must download that in the column next to it. So after the drivers are extracted, replace the *.inf file before running the setup file. I tried the 67.03 because it was newer then the 66.93 drivers and older then the 67.50. The drivers were older then the 67.50 but the setup was newer so was hoping maybe something was fixed. Well the results were the 3DMark05 free version (2768 at stock settings) ran without giving me any errors. Don't try the 70.41 drivers as they cotain no go6800 drivers. So those having reboot problems might want to try them. Also the modded *.inf gives access to the overclocking features similar to the Coolbits *.reg file.

Thanks Potato I will give this a try have you played Doom 3 yet I was testing the demo and when I move fast or make sudden direction changes I get a little tileing affect for a second or 2 and this is kinda strange I am not sure if this is common or what.

nope no joy in the run still locked up I did find that my memory is installed in slots 2 and 4 instead of 1 and 3 I am not sure if this would affect anything or not but this is the first machine I have had that is running dual channel so I will have to do more research.

I had no luck with these drivers either. 3DMark05 continues to lockup or reboot my system.

Hopefully newer drivers will work. It's the first type of this kind of laptop so I guess it may take some time for all the kinks to get worked out. My RAM is in the 2 bottom slots.

Well, in my case it looks like 3Dmark05 only works when my unit in unplugged. :\

Also, unplugging it, running doom 3, and plugging it back in got doom 3 running properly. It looks like Doom 3 runs everytime now, but 3Dmark05 still only runs when on battery. Odd.

This is begining to be a trend it seems there seems to be some configuration or design problem with the switch between AC and Battery cause this is starting to be a common problem I wish all the people who have not been able to get 3dmark05 to run would try this so we could get a head count so to speak of the ones that do work on battery so maybe we could get some progress on this.
