Testing Software/Games

What do you all recommed to test a system when you get it to make sure everything is running flawless. Any certain games, temp programs, benchmarks, etc.

Is it necessary?

Also, how much testing does Sager put into the laptops before sending them out. I read somewhere that they would perform a benchmark, but wondering if it was correct.

Basically, I just want to know all this, So i will have everything here and ready to go once the laptop gets here.

Sorry, I promise that i did do some searching before asking these questions. I just kept ending up with a bunch of posts that were not helpful and very difficult to filter through due to such a high volume.

Thanks for the input everyone

yep, that is pretty lame IMO. You would think that since they give the impression of gaming, they should just give it to you (or at least at a discount from the purchase price on-line)

3Dmark03. 3dmark2001, 3dmark05, and your main game of play.

Basically when I overclock, I use 3dmark03 to push it and UT2K4 ons to really push it a little more as well as Deus Ex:IW.
