Downclocking GPU

I'm trying to solve the famous lagging problem by downclocking the GPU a bit to see if the lappy runs smoother during games. Does anybody know good low values for the clock, so that games are still fast but the produced heat is definitely less?

Haha, my mistake. I thought I was in the general forum still! I love Firefox tabbed browsing but maybe I can't multitask as well as I Firefox can

I own a 8790 too, and I'd say that trial and error would be the best way, honestly.

Good question. I've been thinking of doing the same, but in order to reduce artifacting problems I'm having at the moment. Haven't tried downclocking yet, but it's on my mind. ATi Tool is installed and ready to go
