Email Sager ASAP in regards to this (might want to include the link to this thread, too). I just had my motherboard replaced due to artifacting. Hopefully that's not the problem for you, but just in case, I'd get on the ball and see what the techs have to say.

humm those dot patterns look very much like the ones I had when I played games for too long. First it would artifact and then the screen would get messed up, and my desktop gets covered with those dots. Restart will fix things but I think something was up with the gfx/ motherboard. I sent mine in for a fix, and I suggest you do the same.

At least contact tech support for some help. Wouldn't hurt.

damn, i really cant be without my lappy right now, as im in school. it only does this when it comes back from stand by, i have the video card overclocked but does not artifact even after hours of gaming, but contacting sager tech support is a good idear.

MW-Baboon, i'm having the exact same problem. i mean exactly as you described. i have a couple of questions for you. 1. have you updated either your mobo or video bios? 2. did the problem solve itself after you restore the defualt video clock speeds?

i have updated both my video and mobo bios. i am currently running the ati 8.04 video drivers off sager support site. i am using radlink to oc my video card to 460/290. this only seems to happen when i come out of standby. i am also having problems with my games and 3dmark freezing up. all situations result in a hard reboot to solve the problem.

baboon i was using radlinker to oc my video, restoring to default settings did not fix my problem. after uninstalling radlinker i tested going into standby 4-5 times and did not have any problems.

i think that maybe it was the drivers that i was useing, but it does not happen with the ones that i have now, which r the latest omega drivers.

You might want to get rid of the OC 9700 statement in your signature prior to contacting Sager for RMA.
