4750 for gaming.

Heya - my second post here. The first was asking about the 3790 for gaming. I am also throwing out this question to the 4750 owners out there. Because, for about $100 more than the 3790, I can get a similarly equipped 4750. And, the 4750 has a more powerful processor and a larger screen (but also is 3 pounds heavier).

My primary objective is to find a laptop that games very well (primarily EQ2 in my hotel for a couple hours a night), and also is easily portable.

Thanks!

What is there to say, I have it and HL2 runs pretty sweet on it (Sager drivers). I can sense the difference with my 9800 Pro (desktop pc) but it's extremely playable. It does run very hot I might add - but, here in Montreal the temperature is starting to really kick down, so my left hand is never cold

EQ2 has to be the most intense graphics game I've played. It pushes everything, system ram, cpu and gpu...has tons and tons of textures to load.. I would say look on Dell outlet and pick up a 9100 with the 9800 256mb ATI, 3790, 4750 can run it but not as good as the sager 9860 or the dell.. and I found the P4 HT seems to run it better, comparing it against my laptop versus husbands amd64 desktop.. his cpu is taxed 100% where mine is like 53%...
